Reconnect. Rebuild Trust.
Feel Closer Again
.Perhaps this feels familiar...
You love each other, but lately you feel stuck in the same arguments and misunderstandings that don’t resolve. Over time, it can start to feel like distance is growing between you.
You may notice that even when you try to talk things through, it doesn’t land the way you hoped. One of you may feel unheard or dismissed, while the other feels overwhelmed, defensive, or like nothing they say makes a difference.
Over time, conversations that start with the intention to connect can quickly turn into frustration, withdrawal, or silence. What gets lost in the middle is often not care or love, but the ability to truly reach one another in a way that feels safe and understood.
You might find yourselves having the same conversations over and over again, just in different forms, wondering how you got here or why things feel so hard between you. Even moments that seem small can carry more weight than they used to, and it may feel like you’re both trying in your own ways but still ending up disconnected. Beneath all of this, there is often a deep longing to feel close again, to feel like you’re on the same team instead of working against each other.

Your relationship is worth
finding your way back...
.There is a way to move out of this cycle and back toward connection…
I'm here to help
.We take time to look at what’s really happening beneath the surface of the arguments and distance. Instead of focusing only on changing how you talk to each other, we begin to understand the deeper dynamics that keep showing up between you, what each of you might be feeling, needing, or trying to protect in those moments.
With more space to slow down and understand what’s happening between you, it can become easier to see each other differently. From there, new ways of responding and reconnecting can begin to emerge, helping you feel more understood, supported, and emotionally close again.
Over time, this can create more moments of connection between you, more ease when conflict arises, and more opportunities to repair and find your way back to one another, even in the difficult moments.

FAQS
What others have wondered about therapy for relationships
Do you offer couples therapy in Austin, Texas or online?
Yes. I offer couples therapy in person in Austin, Texas, and online throughout Texas. When online therapy is a suitable option for your needs and circumstances, it offers the flexibility to connect from wherever you are while still creating space for meaningful connection and change.
How can couples therapy help our relationship?
Couples therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath conflict, deepen your connection, and find new ways of relating to each other. Many couples come to therapy feeling distant or stuck in the same cycle, and therapy helps create space to explore what’s happening beneath the conflict, what each of you might be feeling, needing, and reacting to in those moments. From there, therapy helps create new ways of responding to each other that build closeness over time.
Can therapy help if we still love each other but feel disconnected?
Yes. Many couples seek therapy because the love is still there, but something feels harder to reach. Therapy can help you understand what’s getting in the way of connection and support you in finding your way back to each other.
What happens in the first couples therapy session?
The first session is about understanding your relationship, what’s been happening between you, and what you’re hoping for. We also begin to notice the ways you respond to each other so we can start to make sense of what’s keeping you stuck. After the first session together, I usually also meet with each partner individually at least once so I can better understand each person’s experience and support the work more fully.
What is your training and approach?
I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) through the EFT Externship, and I have also completed Gottman Level 1 and Level 2 training. My work with couples is rooted in helping partners understand their patterns, strengthen emotional connection, and rebuild trust and closeness over time.
