New Ways of Being Are Possible
Healing, connection, and meaningful change

You're tired of holding it all together.
You’ve spent so long taking care of everyone else.
It’s time to take care of you.
Parents of Children With Disabilities
Raising a child with disabilities takes immense heart, and it can also feel all-consuming and isolating. Together, we’ll make space for the exhaustion and emotional weight you’ve been carrying, so you can feel more supported, understood, and connected to yourself again.
EMDR Therapy for Trauma
When life has felt overwhelming or painful, the impact of those experiences can linger in the present. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a evidence-based therapy that helps your brain naturally process these memories, so they begin to feel less heavy and more in the past where they belong.
Couples
You love each other, but lately it feels like you keep ending up in the same arguments, feeling hurt, and not really being understood. In our work together, we look at what’s happening between you, underneath the conflict, so you can start to understand each other differently and begin finding your way back to closeness again.
People Pleasing & Boundaries
You’re used to being the one who takes care of everyone else, but it’s left you feeling disconnected from your own needs and unsure of what you truly want. You may find yourself overthinking, avoiding conflict, or feeling guilty when you choose yourself. In our work together, we’ll explore these patterns and help you create more confidence, boundaries, and freedom to show up as yourself.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
You look like you have it all together, but inside, you are drowning under the quiet pressure to keep the wheels turning.
You feel like you are living your life entirely on autopilot, trapped in a relentless loop of therapy schedules, specialists appointments, paperwork and endless responsibilities.
You love your child with everything you’ve got, but managing the realities of their disability has left you constantly in survival mode. You look like the strong parent who has it all under control, but inside, you’re exhausted in ways that aren’t always visible to others and losing touch with yourself.
You feel completely stuck in a loop where every conversation feels like a trap, and everything you say lands the wrong way. The more you try to reach each other, the more disconnected you both end up feeling.
You love each other, but the emotional distance feels wider than ever, leaving you both hurt, lonely, and deeply misunderstood. Beneath the frustration and conflict is often a longing to feel close again to feel seen, supported, and important to one another. You want to find your way back to that connection, but right now, it feels harder than it used to to reach each other in the moments that matter most.
Or maybe you’re tired of always being the one who holds everything together, takes care of everyone else, and puts your own needs last.
You spend so much energy making sure everyone else is okay that you’ve learned to ignore your own needs, feelings, and limits. Saying yes feels easier than disappointing someone. Taking care of others comes naturally; taking care of yourself feels uncomfortable or even selfish. On the outside, you appear capable and composed. On the inside, you’re exhausted from carrying so much and wondering when you’ll finally have space to just be yourself.

What you've been carrying may make more sense than you realize. Together, we can begin to understand them in a new way and create space for meaningful change.
I’m Lisa, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, in the state of Texas, supervised by Kim Fry, LMFT-S.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together on your own or have the right words for what you’re feeling. We begin by getting curious about what’s been happening for you, inside yourself and in your relationships, and what feels most present or difficult right now.
Together, we begin noticing the ways you tend to respond when life feels overwhelming, disconnected, or stuck, exploring what those responses may be trying to protect or manage. Over time, we make sense of how these ways of coping developed and why they’ve made sense throughout your life.
As your understanding deepens, you can begin relating to yourself and others in new ways, not just talking about change, but experiencing it in real time. Over time, many people find themselves feeling more grounded, more connected to themselves, and more able to move through life with greater intention, confidence, and choice.
Healing Begins With
Connection.
Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal choice, and I want you to feel entirely comfortable with your decision. I invite you to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation so we can get to know each other and see how it feels to work together.
If it feels like a good match, we’ll set up your first session and begin gently mapping out a path forward. And if it feels like we aren’t the right fit, that is completely ok, I will send you referrals to other therapists who can support you.
